Lil Nas X said he wanted to be “slutted out” and joked he wasn’t gay anymore after leaving last night’s Grammy awards empty-handed.
The ‘Industry Baby’ rapper, 22, was up for five categories including Record of the Year for his debut album Montero. In the Album of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best Music Video categories he was nominated for ‘Montero (Call Me By Your Name)’
‘Industry Baby’ with Jack Harlow was recognised for Best Melodic Rap Performance.
While the previous two-time Grammy winner wasn’t lucky with these awards, he did give one hell of a performance!
“I am now no longer gay!”
Tweeting after the awards Lil Nas X said: “can’t believe i lost all my grammys. i am now no longer gay!”

Before the awards he’d told fans, “i’m either gonna win a grammy, go to a club, get drunk, and have sex with a random stranger or lose each grammy, go to a club, get drunk, and have sex with a random stranger”
He followed this up post-awards by saying he wanted to be “slutted out”.
i change my mind i want to be slutted out tonight

Despite his lack of trophies at the end of the night, Lil Nas X appears to have had a good time tweeting a number of images of himself with Jack Harlow, Lady Gaga, and Doja Cat.
He can also claim to have given a truly show-stopping performance with a medley of his Montero hits.
Pulling off a number of costume changes as he went from one hit to another the 22-year-old stunned audiences while showing off his brand of showmanship.
‘Montero (Call Me By Your Name)’ which caused quite the stir when it was released last year featured a display of social media posts and clips critiquing the rapper for his defiantly queer hit.
He capped it off with a triumphant rendition of ‘Industry Baby’ complete with an appearance from Jack Harlow.
We loved it and he’s still a winner to us!
