Lil Nas X sings about topping and bottoming on new single Holiday and we’re obsessed
This song is SO not about Christmas...

Lil Nas X has released new song ‘Holiday’ – and the lyrics are giving us a lot to think about.
(Granted, not as much as Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion’s ‘WAP’. But, ballpark.)
While the video to the song is festive-themed – with the singer doing a very hip take on Santa Claus – the words seem to imply every day is Christmas in Nas’ world…

“I might bottom on the low, but I top shit”
“Aye, it’s a holiday – I got h**s on h**s and they’re out of control…” the star sings on the chorus.
Elsewhere, on a verse (ahem) he sings: “Ayy, can I pop shit? (Pop, pop, pop), I might bottom on the low, but I top shit (But I top shit).”
The bodysuit, the futuristic setting, the naughty lyrics… is anyone else getting George Michael’s Freeek vibes?
The song is Nas’ first since this year’s ‘Rodeo’, and follows the worldwide success of ‘Panini’ and ‘Old Town Road’.
Grammy-winner LNX came out publicly as gay last year in a tweet on the last day of Pride month.
