Lindsay Lohan: ‘I will harass Tina Fey to write Mean Girls 2’
By Sam Rigby
Lindsay Lohan has promised that she will “harass” Tina Fey to write a Mean Girls sequel.
The actress recently reunited with Fey, as well as meeting up with a number of her former co-stars – see more here.
Speaking about Mean Girls‘ legacy, Lohan told Time Out: “People really love the movie: how do you top that?
“I was with Tina Fey the other day and I said we should do another Mean Girls, like an older version where they’re all housewives and they’re all cheating. That would be really funny. I’ll harass Tina to write it.”
The 28-year-old will make her London stage debut in Speed-the-Plow on Wednesday (September 24).
On whether she has taken the role in order to make herself “employable” again, she said: “I think it definitely helps. I think it shows that I can be accountable and I think it helps with the perception that I’m just a psycho that goes out and stuff.
“I’ve done things, but people grow up and they change. I’m willing to work hard to gain back the respect that I once had and have lost.”
Speed-the-Plow will run at London’s Playhouse Theatre until November 29.
