Just in case you weren’t excited enough for Life-Size 2, it looks like Lindsday Lohan is set to return for the sequel to Disney’s beloved comedy drama.
Tyra Banks has confirmed that Lohan will appear in the upcoming Freeform TV movie, which is set to go into production this summer ahead of an expected December release.
“Lindsay Lohan will… be in Life-Size 2, yes!” Banks revealed in an interview with Steve Harvey.
“I really, really want her to. We’re talking about it right now, and she has got to come back.”
First broadcast in 2000, the original Life-Size told the story of a seventh grader Casey (Lohan) who brings her doll Eve (Banks) to life after a spell to resurrect her dead mother goes wrong.
The sequel, which was first announced last year, is set to follow Eve as she helps a young woman “learn to live and love again” in what is described as “a fun, edgy, modern Christmas movie.”
It’s unknown whether Lohan, 31, will reprise her role as Casey or take on a new character, but either way, the appearance will mark the Mean Girls star’s first movie appearance since 2013’s erotic thriller The Canyons.
Life-Size 2 is expected to arrive on Freeform this December.
