Listen: Brandon Flowers’ killer new solo single

Killers’ frontman Brandon Flowers has debuted the lead single from his upcoming second solo album The Desired Effect – and it sounds like his most surefire smash since Mr Brightside.
Produced by Ariel Rechtshaid (Madonna, HAIM, Charli XCX) Can’t Deny My Love is a pop stomper with a sky-high chorus and more than a few 80’s electronic flourishes – almost like a 2015 version of It’s A Sin. Let’s not forget, Flowers is a lifelong Pet Shop Boys fan after all.
The Desired Effect is out May 17 – in the meantime, you can listen to the new single below:
