Listen: First snippet of Missy Elliott’s comeback single ‘WTF’

After what seems like an eternity, it appears Missy Elliott is priming for a full-scale comeback, dropping a snippet of upcoming single WTF (Where They From) on US television last night – and this very cool new picture on social media:
The Pharrell Williams-assisted single will premiere in full this Friday before its November 13 release date – give the 30-second snippet a listen below:

We like what we hear so far! While it has been an entire decade since Elliott’s last studio album – 2005’s The Cookbook – she ‘s kept busy in the ensuing years with all manner of guest appearances. Most recently, Missy teamed up with old pal Janet Jackson for the R&B diva’s latest single BURNITUP!
Missy did drop a pair of criminally ignored solo singles back in 2012, the better of which, Triple Threat, you can listen to below:
