Listen: Sarah Harding’s debut solo single, Threads
By Will Stroude
UPDATE –
Well, it’s here: ex-Girls Aloud member Sarah Harding’s debut solo single, Threads. The three-minute pop rock track is Sarah in a nutshell, and harks back to some of The Aloud’s crunchy early career highlights (we’re getting hints of Thank Me Daddy). Give it a listen below:
Sarah Harding has announced her debut solo single, Threads.
The ex-Girls Aloud star confirmed on Twitter last night that the as-yet-unheard track will be released on August 7, and available to pre-order soon.
Harding unveiled the single’s cover art as part of the announcement, while the track itself is expected to be unveiled soon.
The news makes Sarah the last member of Girls Aloud to embark on a solo music career. Cheryl Fernandez-Versini Nadine Coyle, Kimlerley Walsh and Nicola Roberts have all released solo albums with varying degrees of success.
Sarah actually unveiled some solo material at a London showcase last year, and naturally Attitude was in attendance – find out what we made of ‘Hardcore’ Harding’s efforts here.
The 33-year-old has also filmed a four-episode stint on Coronation Street, with her scenes set to air later this summer.
