Listen to The Corrs’ comeback single ‘Bring On The Night’
By Will Stroude
Since launching their long-awaited comeback after a decade-long hiatus with a hit-filled set at Hyde Park last month, we’ve been champing at the bit for new material from The Corrs – and the wait is finally over.
The group – who confirmed their comeback in June – have released comeback single Bring On the Night after debuting it on BBC Radio 2 yesterday.
The Irish family foursome set to release a new album, White Light, on November 27, and though they previously teased that the tracks will be “quite different to what we’ve done before,” on the basis of Bring On the Night they certainly haven’t strayed far from their lilting folk-pop roots.
The Corrs sold 40 million records worldwide between 1995 and their 2005 hiatus, while their 1997 album Talk on Corners went nine times Platinum in the UK alone. The band will play a headline arena tour in January to mark their comeback:
January 19 – Birmingham, Genting Arena
January 20 – Cardiff, Motorpoint Arena
January 22 – Liverpool, Echo Arena
January 23 – London, The O2
January 24 – Manchester, Manchester Arena
January 26 – Glasgow, Hydro Arena
January 28 – Dublin, 3 Arena
January 29 – Belfast, The SSE Arena
