Vin Diesel has covered Sam Smith’s Stay With Me – yes, really.
The action star was promoting his new movie Guardians of the Galaxy when Capital FM challenged him to sing the British soul singer’s chart-topping ballad.
Though Diesel doesn’t hit all of the high notes Smith reaches, he manages to add some of his own to the song.
Watch his unique take on Stay With Me below, at around the three-minute mark.
Meanwhile, Smith has since taken to Twitter to thank Diesel for his heartfelt interpretation of his song.

Stay With Me
topped the UK’s Official Singles Chart upon its release in April, and has since gone on to climb as high as number three on the US Billboard Hot 100 singles chart.
