Listen: Zayn Malik’s first solo track, recorded with Naughty Boy

By Josh Haggis

That was quick! Naughty Boy has unveiled a demo he recorded with Zayn Malik, less than a week after Malik announced he had left One Direction.

The acclaimed British producer, who was spotted in the studio with Malik over the weekend, shared acoustic track I Don’t Mind online this morning (March 31).

Naughty Boy, who has previously worked with the likes of Sam Smith and Emeli Sande, released the song following an argument with Malik’s former bandmate Louis Tomlinson on Twitter, who claimed the producer is “so inconsiderate” and told him to “shut the fuck up”.

Malik announced his decision to leave the X Factor group earlier this week, with the remaining four of his former bandmates vowing to go on, as they prepare to release their fifth studio album later this year.
