Little Mix sing ‘Secret Love Song’ in tribute to Orlando victims
By now it’s fair to say that Little Mix are truly impassioned supporters of the LGBT cause.
Remember Jade Thirwall’s legendary response to a hateful comment left on a picture the singer had posted on Instagram about drag queen RuPaul?
Or how about dedicating their single ‘Secret Love Song’ to their LGBT fans?
On their ‘Get Weird’ tour in Amsterdam last Friday (June 17), just four days after Orlando’s tragedy, an emotional Jade, Jesy, Perrie and Leigh-Anne told the audience: “The next song we’re gonna perform, we want to dedicate to all those people in Orlando… and the families that have been left behind who are hurting right now.”
It comes after Jade posted an emotional message on Twitter in the wake of the tragedy, saying she was “deeply saddened” and seemingly alluding to what some saw as an attempt by the media to downplay the attack as one which was directed at the gay community.
