Little Mix’s Jade Thirlwall signs solo record deal
The 'Black Magic' singer has also signed with Full Stop, the management company behind Harry Styles.

Jade Thirlwall has become the latest member of Little Mix to start a solo career after signing a deal with RCA Records.
She follows her fellow Little Mix-ers Leigh Anne Pinnock and Jesy Nelson in inking a solo contract, while reports suggest Perrie Edwards is also working on her own music.
It comes after Little Mix announced last year that they would go on hiatus after their Confetti tour later this year.
“It was quite scary”
29-year-old Thirlwall, who came to prominence on The X-Factor in 2011, has already been working on the things for some time after co-writing Billy Porter’s ‘Children’ with MNEK.
Billboard also reports her to have worked on music for Britney Spears and the K-Pop bad, Twice.

Speaking to Attitude last year ahead of the release of their greatest hits album Between Us, Jade said that “inevitably” they would all work on solo projects.
“I’d personally love to hear Perrie’s pipes on a big song, I’d love to hear [Leigh-Anne] doing whatever she loves best. That will probably happen in the future, but like we say, Little Mix is still going to be there. There’s a definite, sort of, safety and lovely warm fluffiness knowing that we always have each other to fall back on.”
The songstress also said that “it was quite scary” beginning to work on solo things given how the media tends to pick up on it. She added that as a result “for a long time, we put it off, it always felt awkward doing our own thing. We’ve got to a place now where it feels right doing that.”
