‘Looking’ star Daniel Franzese: ‘Bigger gay men get left out’
By Josh Haggis
Daniel Franzese has argued that bigger gay men get “left out”.
The Looking actor, who recently came on board as a columnist for attitude.co.uk, has suggested that gay men sans washboard abs are regularly missing from shows that claim to represent the gay community.
“Big dudes get left out of the gay lexicon,” Franzese (pictured above, right) told Buzzfeed, going on to say that his character on the show has filled the “big dude” space that was noticeably vacant during the first season.
Franzese, who plays an out-and-proud HIV-positive character on the acclaimed HBO series, went on to say that despite what people may assume because of his weight, he has a very healthy sex life.
“I have a very fulfilled sexual life. I’ve never had a problem meeting guys,” he said. “To me, I think that should say something. It’s time for bigger dudes to rise up and get the guy.”
Meanwhile, Looking actors Jonathon Groff and Russell Tovey stripped down to nothing but their birthday suits on the latest episode of the show – check out the scene here.
