Lord of the Rings actor Lee Pace reveals he’s dated both men and women
The Hollywood star has opened up about his bisexuality

Actor Lee Pace has opened up about his sexuality.
The Golden Globe-nominated actor, who has starred in movies such as The Hobbit and Gaurdians of the Galaxy, commented on his bisexuality while discussing his upcoming role in LGBT play Angels in America.
Pace will be playing the role of Joe Pitt, previously played by Russell Tovey when the show played to sold-out crowds in London.
In an interview with W Magazine, Pace appeared taken back when the interviewer probed him about his private life.
“I’ve dated men. I’ve dated women. I don’t know why anyone would care. I’m an actor and I play roles,” Pace said.
He continued: “To be honest, I don’t know what to say ― I find your question intrusive.”
Going on to discuss his role in the play, the actor explained: “Our understanding of what it means to be gay is just so different — culturally different. It’s just so much further down the road. It’s an interesting thing for me to think about in this moment while working on this play.”
Pace has always made an effort to keep his private life out of the spotlight.
Back in 2014 he told Buzzfeed: “Who cares about people’s personal lives? I mean, honestly. How are you then able to disappear into a role? Trust me, if I had something interesting to say about myself, I would.”
