Madonna claps back at 50 Cent for his ‘fake’ apology after mocking her photos

Madonna has issued a delayed clapback at 50 Cent after he mocked her Instagram photos.
The ‘Hung Up’ singer generated headlines last month after sharing a series of provocative pictures, including of herself in fishnet stockings under a bed.
Commenting on the photos online, ‘Candyshop’ rapper 50 Cent said: “Yo this is the funniest s**! LOL. That’s Madonna under the bed trying to do like a virgin at 63. She shot out, if she don’t get her old a** up. LMFAO [sic].”
Madonna initially addressed 50’s comments by sharing a photo of them together and saying in a caption: “Here is 50 Cent pretending to be my friend. Now you have decided to talk smack about me!”
The star added: “I guess your new career is getting attention by trying to humiliate others on social media. The least elevated choice you could make as an artist and an adult. You’re just jealous you won’t look as good as me or have as much fun when you are my age!”
Apologising, 50 later said: “I must have hurt Madonna feelings, she went and dug up a old MTV photo from 03.
“Ok Im sorry I did not intend to hurt your feelings. I don’t benefit from this in anyway i said what i thought when i saw the picture because of where i had seen it before [comparing it to a picture of The Wicked Witch under a house in The Wizard of Oz] i hope you accept my apology [sic].”

“You were trying to shame me”
However, in her latest comments on the situation, 63-year-old Madonna made it clear she is not here for 50’s apology, recently saying: “You were trying to shame me and humiliate me.”
She continued: “Your apology is fake, it’s bull****, and it’s not valid.”
The star, known for hits like ‘Material Girl’ and ‘Frozen’, added: “An apology is not valid if you don’t know what you’re apologising for. […] what you should be apologising for is your misogynistic, sexist, ageist behaviour and remarks.”
