Madonna courts controversy with new Instagram post

Madonna’s once again using her Instagram account to stir up controversy, taking to the social media network today to post a picture that’s elicited a lot of feedback – both positive and negative.

Posting a picture of a Jewish and Muslim man in a tender, intimate embrace, Madonna captured the snap: “This image is 100. #rebelhearts”

While it’s a gorgeous picture, it’s hard to imagine Madonna couldn’t have imagined it would kick off a firestorm of controversy – and indeed, fans took to her Instagram to fiercely debate the pic and multitude of thorny issues it plays into.

Ah, Madonna. Say what you like, but she still knows how to get us talking.
