Madonna dancers recreate ‘Vogue’ to celebrate 25th anniversary

By Ryan Love

Jose Xtravaganza and Salim “Slam” Gauwloos have recreated the iconic choreography from Madonna’s ‘Vogue’ video, as the song celebrates it’s 25th anniversary.

First released in March 1990, the two appeared in the famed video before going on to tour with Madonna.

Jose and and fellow dancer Luis Camacho Xtravaganza also often credited with introducing the star to the Harlem House Ball community, leading her to introducing the iconic dance form to a mainstream audience.

Now both dancer teachers, Jose and Gauwloos recently reunited in Los Angeles to recreate the routine and shared the must-see results online.

Madonna’s new album Rebel Heart entered the UK album chart at number two earlier this month. She recently filmed a video for the album’s second single ‘Ghosttown’.
