Manchester Pride have just added an iconic act for this year’s LGBTQ festival.

Most of the big headliners have already been announced including Ariana Grande, Years and Years and Emili Sande but they are upping their game with the latest announcement.

According to the Manchester Evening News, iconic singer Lulu is reportedly joining the line-up and will be performing at the Gay Village Party on Saturday night.

The Scottish singer shot to fame at the age of 15 when she released the smash hit ‘Shout’, 55 years ago, and is still one of the most the celebrated singers.

The live music festival, formerly known as The Big Weekend, will take place over August Bank Holiday weekend.

And for the first time, the music festival has been relocated to the site of the disused railway depot close to Manchester Piccadilly Station after local property development plans forced the event to move from the city’s gay village.
