Matt Dallas and Blue Hamilton introduce adopted son in adorable Christmas video
By Will Stroude
US actor Matt Dallas and his husband, musician Blue Hamilton, have announced that they’ve become the adopted parents of an adorable two-year-old boy named Crow.
The couple, who tied the knot in July after getting engaged two years ago – at the same time Kyle XY star Dallas came out publicly – made the announcement by way of a heart-warming Christmas video message called ‘Welcome to Our Pride’.
The clip sees Dallas and Hamilton reveal how they were initially supposed to look after Crow as a foster child for a six-month trial period, but that they immediately “fell in love” with him on the car ride home.
“We decided he was going to be ours, that we weren’t going to give him up,” Hamilton says.
Explaining why the pair chose to adopt instead of go down the route of surrogacy, Dallas says: “There were just a lot of kids that really needed homes.
“‘There’s kids and babies waking up in office buildings, waking up in group homes. People that work for the state just don’t have enough time or resources to get to all of them.”
Congratulations to the whole family – check out the clip below:
