Everybody’s Talking About Jamie‘s Max Harwood has let slip that Drag Race UK‘s Vinegar Strokes “loves” bears.

The young actor, 24, is taking part in Attitude’s LGBTQ Slang challenge, which is part of Attitude’s Pride at Home running from 9 to 19 June.

It’s no surprise given his role in the film version of Everybody’s Talking About Jamie that Max is familiar with how to ‘beat’ ones face (for the gods).

“This is when you beat your face, your make-up. Beating your face usually with a powderpuff, not with a fist.”

The concept of having to ‘werk’ is also not lost on Max who would have had to pull many a pose during the filming of Jamie. “It’s an approving sort of compliment,” he adds.

‘Chicken cutlets’ initially stump the actor before he correct guesses they refer to the fake breasts often used by drag queens.

“Me, and that’s all you need to know about that one,” laughs Max at the word ‘twink’. Asked about ‘bears’ Max reveals, “I don’t know if I know any. Vinegar Strokes loves them.”

He doesn’t think the Drag Race UK season one queen will mind him saying that.

Finally, Max distinguishes shade as an insult but “in a non-spiteful way”.

Aside from Max, those putting themselves in the hot seat are Olympic diver, Tom Daley, Steps, comedian Tom Allen, and model, Pablo Hernandez.
