‘Mean Girls’ stars enjoy 10-year reunion – pictures

Amy Poehler, Lizzy Caplan and Daniel Franzese have enjoyed a mini Mean Girls reunion.

The three stars of the 2004 cult comedy reunited at Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles on Sunday (August 10), at a party celebrating Caplan’s birthday and recent Emmy nomination for her role in the critically acclaimed Showtime/Channel 4 hit Masters Of Sex.

Franzese posted two selfies of the trio on his Instagram, describing his co-star Caplan as “one of the greatest people you will ever meet”

The classic teen movie saw Caplan and Franzese in the repesctive roles of straight-talking Janice Ian and ‘almost too gay to function’ Damien, best friends to Lindsay Lohan’s naive newcomer Cady Heron.

Parks And Recreation star Poehler appeared in the classic teen movie as the try-hard mother of ‘queen bee’ Regina George, played by Rachel McAdams.

Their co-star Amanda Seyfriend, who portrayed the ditzy Karen Smith, described the film’s continued popularity earlier this year as “crazy” – read more here.
