Mel B has revealed she is pushing for another Spice Girls reunion.

The Spice Girls last performed together at the closing ceremony of the London 2012 Olympics, and previously reunited for a 47-date comeback tour called ‘The Return of the Spice Girls’ in 2007-8.

During an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon in the US last night (July 23), Mel B was asked whether the group will ever get back together again, and admitted that she is trying to persuade the other girls to make it happen.

“I would love to get back together and do something with the Spice Girls. I’m the one who keeps on saying it,” she said.

She then added: “So if I say it enough, maybe it will actually happen again!”

Earlier this year Mel C hinted that the girlband could reform in 2016 to mark the 20th anniversary of their debut single Wannabe.

However, Emma Bunton has since spoken less promisingly about a potential reunion, saying the girls “love being together and hanging out but no, there’s nothing in the pipeline as yet”. Read more of Bunton’s comments about a possible reunion here.

Meanwhile, Mel B will seen sitting next to Simon Cowell, Louis Walsh and Cheryl Fernandez-Versini on the judging panel when The X Factor returns to ITV next month (August). In the meantime, watch a clip of the Scary singer discussing a possible Spice Girls reunion on The Tonight Show below:
