Michael Urie said the cast of Ugly Betty would all be up for a revival.
The hit comedy series ended eight years ago after ABC decided to cancel the much-loved show but Urie – who starred as openly gay fashion assistant Marc St James – told Vulture that the original cast would love to return.
He said: “We all would. We loved each other so much and we loved it so much.
“We would absolutely do a revival and if you’re listening, ABC, please make it happen. You can make one of the characters a Trump support if [you] have to.
“We’re in touch all the time. [There] was just a text chain yesterday with America [Ferrera] and everybody, with this baby dressed up like Ugly Betty in the Guadalajara poncho.”
We’d love to see the show return and we aren’t the only ones as Vanessa Williams, who played the antagonist – and fashion icon – Wilhelmina Slater also said she’d happily return as the character.
