‘Most Haunted’ revived, Yvette Fielding to return

Most Haunted
is to return to TV after an absence of over four years.
The ghost-hunting reality show debuted on Living in May 2002 – and went on to run for 16 series, and a massive 188 episodes, until it tracked down its final spook in July 2010.
Now the show has been brought back from the dead by the Really entertainment channel, with a new series of ten 60-minute episodes set to begin this August.
The show’s original host, Yvette Fielding, will return for the new episodes, and said in a statement: “This is without doubt our best series yet. We are so pleased Most Haunted has found its exclusive new home on Really, the home of paranormal programming.”
Meanwhile, the show’s producer and director Karl Beattie added: “Television was too quiet without Most Haunted so we answered fans’ calls and brought it back. And where better for it to be than Really? Really has fully immersed itself in this genre and does it better than any other channel, so we are proud to be working with them.”
