Nicki Minaj to host MTV 2014 EMAs in Glasgow

Nicki Minaj will host the 2014 MTV Europe Music Awards (EMAs), it has been announced.
The US rapper – who is nominated for Best Female, Best Hip-Hop, Biggest Fans and Best Look at this year’s awards – will preside over the ceremony in Glasgow on November 9.
The Anaconda hitmaker confirmed the news on Twitter this morning (September 29) with typical Minaj sass – by sharing a picture of herself sitting on a throne as the ‘Queen’ of the EMA. Check it out below.

As well as hosting the show, Minaj will take to the stage to perform during the course of the evening. Also confirmed to be performing at the ceremony this year are Enrique Iglesias and Eurovision winner Conchita Wurst.
More performers will be announced in the weeks running up the show.
