Outcome project shows LGBT people embracing their inner child

By Nick Bond

Photographer Tom Dingley shines a light on LGBT people’s personal histories with his fascinating new portrait project, #Outcome.

Dingley has photographed people from all walks of life within the LGBT community – including a few famous faces – as they are now, with a nod to their profession/hobby/passion – while also holding their own childhood photograph.

“The concept of #Outcome is to show that LGBT people can grow up, come out and still be the same person they’ve always been and that they can still be what they’ve always wanted to be! There’s a rich and varied life out there for LGBT people, they just have to make their own way in the world like everyone else,” says Dingley.
“#Outcome is a great way of showing that there’s a myriad of opportunities out there for everyone – so dare to dream big.”

The portrait series will show at Brighton Pride as part of the Pride Arts & Film Festival, showing in the Jubilee Library from July 17 to August 3.
