Parks and Recreation star Aubrey Plaza comes out as bisexual
Aubrey Plaza, known for her role as April Ludgate in NBC’s Parks and Recreation, has officially come out as bisexual in a new interview with The Advocate to promote her upcoming comedy film Mike And Dave Need Wedding Dates.
When asked if she was aware of her massive LGBT following, she said, “Yeah. I mean, it makes sense to me.
“I feel like I operate in an old-school way that only gays truly understand. So for me it’s the ultimate compliment. My tastes are like an older gay man’s, and I think that’s who I really am.”
The Mike And Dave Need Wedding Dates star then went on to say that her “family’s always been very open.”
“I have a gay aunt and a gay uncle and I grew up thinking that everyone had a gay aunt or uncle. My younger sister is a lesbian, so it’s just in my blood, I guess.”
And then when Advocate asked her if women come onto her, she said she “doesn’t mind”.
I know I have an androgynous thing going on, and there’s something masculine about my energy. Girls are into me — that’s no secret. Hey, I’m into them too. I fall in love with girls and guys. I can’t help it.’’

Mike And Dave Need Wedding Dates will be released on August 10.
