Patrick Stewart talks kissing McKellen, plants one on Conan O’Brien

Sir Patrick Stewart is already a legend in our eyes, but his heartwarming bromance with Sir Ian McKellen and growing penchant for kissing boys is quickly elevating him to icon status.
During an appearance on The Conan O’Brien show earlier this week, the 75-year-old X-Men star’s bromantic tendencies showed no signs of abating, as he opened up about his heartwarming friendship with McKellen, expressed his desire to kiss James Bond star Sir Sean Connery with “a bit of tongue”, and even planted a big one on the lips of Conan himself.
Discussing his bromance with McKellen – who he was famously pictured kissing on the lips at the premiere of Mr Holmes earlier this year – Stewart said: “We are very good friends and quite intimate friends. That’s how we greet one another or say goodbye.
“But Ian isn’t the only one – I don’t want you to think that I’m a one-man guy.”
Asked what other ‘Sirs’ he would have a crack at, Stewart replied: “I think… who would I go for if I could… I think I’d go for Sir Sean [Connery]”.
He went on: “Yeah, yeah. Maybe a bit of tongue there.”
When O’Brien kept pressing him on the topic, Stewart asked: “Do you want to try it out? You were looking at me in a way that I recognise.”
With that, Stewart wasted no time in planted a big one right on Conan, who it must be said looked positively euphoric in the moments after.
