Paul Weller’s son Natt comes out as bisexual in Attitude Sex Issue
By Will Stroude
Musician Natt Weller has come out as bisexual in the Attitude Sex Issue.
The son of legendary rocker Paul Weller tells Attitude he realised he was interested in boys at 17, but that his father’s alpha male image made coming out to him a daunting experience.
“Up to that point I’d only had girlfriends,” he says. “But it was then that I started to find boys attractive and thought ‘oh wow, these guys are prettier than my girlfriend!'”

The 26-year-old adds: “It was only when I had more of a profile that it got difficult because my dad’s schtick is that working class hero thing. The media see hime as this alpha male character, even though The Style Council was pretty homoerotic! But I knew there was nothing to worry about because he is always pretty accepting of people.”
Explaining how his father became aware of his son’s sexuality, Natt says: “When I had boyfriends, I would be with thm all the time, so it became pretty obvious they were more than just friends. Dad just put two and two together. We never actually actually sat down and said the words.”
