Perez Hilton breaks down in floods of tears after getting fired

Perez Hilton has revealed that he’s been fired from his latest job.

The 39-year-old revealed the news in a tearful video last night, where he claimed he had been sacked by his employer for “some reasons that were bullshit”.

While he didn’t say who had axed him, Hilton explained he was so devastated because such a thing has never happened to him before.

“I’m finding it so hard to let go of this bad news because I’ve been around for 14 years in this industry, and I’ve never had what just happened to me before,” he said.

Going on to reveal more details, he continued: “On Friday I got a call telling me it wasn’t going to happen, and I was let go.

“Ultimately I deduced, based on what I was told, that I was the problem – even though I was perfect for this and everybody loved me.”

Hilton suggested that his blogger persona, which caused his meteoric rise to fame in the late 2000s, was responsible for his difficulty to find a new job.

“I feel like I’m continually being punished for the mistakes of my past, and that’s fine – it’s gonna continue making me work harder,” he said.

He then made an apology to his children, who he claims will have to suffer the consequence of being related to him when they grow up.

“I’m sorry for my kids because I know when they get older they’re going to have to suffer because of who their dad is.”
