Pet Shop Boys have confirmed plans to record a new album.
The electronic pop duo will return to the studio in November to record the follow-up to 2013’s Electric.
Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe have just four more shows to play on their Electric tour, which is still to visit Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Hong Kong and Taipei.
The new album will be their thirteenth, and their second to be released through their own label x2.
Last month, it was confirmed that Pet Shop Boys will make a special guest appearance in BBC Radio 4’s The Archers – read more here.
In March, Tennant and Lowe turned Panti Bliss’s speech on homophobia into a dance track titled Oppressive (The Best Gay Possible) – listen here.
