Pics: Cruel Intentions cast reunite for ‘best girls night of the year’
By Will Stroude
They played warring New York City high-schoolers in 1999’s fabulously venomous teen drama Cruel Intentions, but Reese Witherspoon, Sarah Michelle Gellar and Selma Blair proved that life doesn’t always reflect art when they enjoyed an unoffical cast reunion in LA last night (May 29).
The trio reunited for the evening to watch an unauthorized musical parody of their hit reworking of literary classic Dangerous Liaisons, 16 years after the release of the original.

Sarah Michelle Gellar, who played coke-addled Kathryn Merteuil, also shared a snap, congratulating the cast of the musical on an “amazing show”.

And in perhaps the most incredible thing to come out of an already wish-fulling evening, a video emerged of the girls singing along to a rendition of Natalie Imbruglia’s Torn, with Reese showing some serious commitment to the number.
