Pixie Lott joins ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ lineup

Pixie Lott is to compete on the upcoming series of Strictly Come Dancing, it has been announced.
The BBC show’s official Twitter account confirmed that the pop singer has signed up to compete by sharing a Vine earlier this afternoon (August 27). Check it out below.

Lott joins ten other celebrities already confirmed for the new series: BBC Radio 1 DJ Scott Mills, wildlife presenter Steve Backshall, EastEnders actor Jake Wood, Casualty actress Sunetra Sarker, former TOWIE star Mark Wright, recent Attitude cover star Thom Evans, Blue singer Simon Webbe, The Saturdays’ Frankie Bridge, Andy Murray’s mum Judy Murray and This Morning’s Alison Hammond.
Three more celebrities will be announced before the series gets started next month (September) – and according to a recent report, so-called “old duffers” have been banned by the BBC. Read the full story here.
