Prince Harry announces engagement to actress Meghan Markle

Prince Harry and his actress girlfriend Meghan Markle have gotten engaged.
The royal, who is currently fifth in line to the throne, will marry the US star next Spring, revealed Clarence House in an official statement.
The couple will then live at Nottingham Cottage at Kensington Palace following the ceremony.
In a statement, Prince Harry said he was “delighted to announce” the engagement, and said that he had received the blessing of Markle’s parents.

“We are incredibly happy for Meghan and Harry. Our daughter has always been a kind and loving person,” said Markle’s parents.
“To see her union with Harry, who shares the same qualities, is a source of great joy for us as parents. We wish them a lifetime of happiness and are very excited for their future together.”
Both Harry and his fiance will take part in a TV interview that is set to be broadcast this evening in the UK on a yet-to-be announced terrestrial channel.
The couple began dating in 2016, and made their first public appearance together in September.
