‘Queer Eye for the Straight Guy’ star Carson Kressley throws shade at ‘Queer Eye’s Emmy’s nominations

Carson Kressley throws shade at Queer Eye’s Emmy nominations.
The original fashion expert on Queer Eye for the Straight Guy admitted he is happy to see the reboot of the show being nominated for four Emmy Awards, the TV personality says it was more “groundbreaking” when they won the award in 2004.
During an interview with Variety, Kressley said: “I’m thrilled that they’re nominated. But it was a little more groundbreaking back when we won the Emmy in 2004.”
Kressley starred alongside Ted Allen, Kyan Douglas, Thom Filicia and Jai Rodriguez in the series which ran from 2003 to 2007.
Now, the Netflix reboot follows the Fab Five – Jonathan Van Ness, Antoni Porowski, Bobby Berk, Tan France and Karamo Brown – as they use their specialities to help men, women and towns be the best they can be.
The Emmy-nominated reality show will begin production on its third season later this summer, Netflix has announced.
Though the first two seasons of the show took place in Atlanta, Georgia, the new series will be based in Kansas City, Missouri.
Netflix released a short teaser of the upcoming season on Twitter in July, alongside the caption: “Get in, henny! We’re taking a road trip. Are you ready for Season 3? Kansas City, Missouri HERE. WE. COME.”
