Over the years we’ve seen Trump as president, Gemma Collins become a global star and Brexit. But while everything else has gone to shit, there’s one thing we can always rely on: girl groups.
Since the late 90s we’ve seen groups come and go, but they’ve not stopped delivering truly life changing bops along the way. What is it about girl bands outdoing boy bands musically without even trying?
We’ve compiled a list of the best girl group singles of the past two decades (from 1997 onwards which means bands like En Vogue and Spice Girls just miss out) so take a look below to be reminded of some absolute classics:
