Review: Little Mix’s Confetti tour is a ‘love letter to the girl group’s fans’
With hit after hit being played to rapturous applause, this was a spectacular way to say goodbye for now.

Little Mix has only two remaining shows in their Confetti tour, an emotional milestone as the group will be taking an indefinite hiatus after the tour’s completion.
For two hours, fans were treated to an eclectic compilation of the last 10 years of hits from the girl group that we have grown to love so much.
London’s O2 Arena, where the trio will be playing three nights in total, was packed to the rafters with a cross-section of younger fans and those who have been following the group from their X-Factor origins.
And of course, the queer community was out in full glittering force.
Opening the show with a stomping and rousing rendition of ‘Shout Out To My Ex’ the girls launched into a set full of colour, cheer and empowerment.
During the first section of the show, Jade paused the flow to dedicate the song ‘Secret Love Song Pt. II’ to the LGBTQ community.
“I want to give a big shout out to the wonderful LGBTQ community. I want you to know that we support you, wholeheartedly, no matter what, forever and ever,” she said.
With lyrics like “we keep behind closed doors”, and “why can’t I kiss you on the dancefloor?” it’s not hard to see why the song has struck such a chord among LGBTQ fans.
The relationship between Little Mix and audience is perhaps closer than most performers and has been from the get-go. The fact that this is one of the last show the band will be performing together for the foreseeable heightening the emotion in the room.
Elsewhere, the show was hit after hit, never stopping for a second. A Lil Nas X mashup upped the queer aesthetic just in case the brightly coloured and gloriously sequinned outfits weren’t gay enough!
Neon outfits, pyrotechnics, confetti (duh), levitating dance platforms, and other general campery ran throughout making for a glorious goodbye for now.
This show was a love letter to the girl group’s fans, with no time wasted to ensure that every single favourite was dusted out and performed to rapturous applause.
