Ricky Martin has revealed he got “excited” while filming scenes of The Assassination of Gianni Versace.
The singer-turned-actor starred as Versace’s live-in lover Antonio D’Amico in the hit Ryan Murphy show and admitted he struggled with his “method acting” while lying in bed with sexy male models.
The former Attitude cover star told the Sun Herald: “There was a beautiful model next to me in bed and so I did some method acting.
“I got a little bit excited. The exhibitionist [in me] was acting up because there was 40 people running cameras.
“I used to always ask, ‘How do actors do it?’ but now I know how they do it.”
The series also stars Penelope Cruz as Donatella Versace and Darren Criss as Andrew Cunanan, who killed Gianni outside his home in 1997 before going on the run.
