Rihanna appears on cover of first free issue of NME
By Will Stroude
Global superstar Rihanna has ensured that NME’s first free issue in its 52-year history gets off to a strong start, with a world exclusive cover and interview.
The Bitch Better Have My Money singer was unveiled as the revamped music magazine’s new cover girl late last night (September 16), along with a tease that the 27-year-old will discuss her long-overdue eighth studio album.
NME travelled to Los Angeles to speak face-to-face with Rhi-Rhi about her ‘#R8’ campaign, and to find out her thoughts on Taylor Swift, life in the public eye, working with Kanye West, feminism and the fallout from her controversy-baiting Bitch Better Have My Money video.
The new issue of NME this out tomorrow (September 18), and you’ll be able to pick it up for free at rail and tube stations, universities, music venues and shops including Topman and HMV.
