RuPaul’s Drag Race girl band United Kingdolls have officially entered the UK top 40 with their track ‘UK, Hun?’

Released last week following the Ruruvision-themed episode of the show, it was tonight confirmed that the track had reached number 27 on the charts.

This is a historic high for the show; last year, the Frock Destroyers reached number 35 with ‘Break Up Bye Bye’.

The Kingdolls – comprised of Tayce, Bimini Bon-Boulash, Lawrence Chaney and A’Whora – previously hit number one with the song on the iTunes chart.

“Let’s keep it climbing”

Responding to the news, Bimini said on Twitter today: “LETS KEEP IT CLIMBING.”

Truly, it could chart even higher next week…

TV star and friend of RPDR UK Lorraine Kelly has meanwhile backed calls for the song to make it to Eurovision, this week tweeting Lawrence: “I cannot get your song out of my head! It HAS to be our Eurovision entry this year or what’s the point !!!”

Olivia Rodrigo continues her stint atop the singles chart this week with ‘Drivers License’. Meanwhile, Slowthai is at number one on the albums chart with new release TYRON.

The Kingdolls’ Drag Race competitiors Bananadrama meanwhile missed the top 40 with their version of ‘UK, Hun?’.
