‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ season 10 gets premiere date
The new season will be followed by episodes of its aftershow 'RuPaul's Drag Race: Untucked'
Season ten of RuPaul’s Drag Race finally has a premiere date.
VH1 announced yesterday (February 16) that the new season of the reality TV show will air on Thursday, March 22, just one week after RuPaul’s Drag Race: All Stars comes to an end.
But there’s more, VH1 is also bringing back Drag Race aftershow Untucked which will air immediately after each episode, meaning there’ll be two hours of Drag Race.
Speaking to Deadline, executive producer and show host RuPaul said: “To celebrate a decade of Drag Race we’ve pulled out all the stops. The queens, the challenges and the shenanigans are off the mother-tucking charts.”
He added: “And I’m thrilled that Untucked is back on VH1. ‘Cause henny, if you ain’t watching Untucked, you’re only getting half the story. Okurrr?”
The show released a short teaser on Facebook in which drag legend RuPaul can be heard saying: “In a world of nine’s, be a ten.”
However, the drag legend has remained quiet about this year’s contestants, so we’ll have to wait until March to find out who’s joining the show.
Meanwhile, you can catch RuPaul’s Drag Race: All Stars season three on Comedy Central.
