Russell Tovey appears to have reunited with ex-fiancé Steve Brockman
The 'Years & Years' star seemingly confirmed on Instagram that he's rekindled his relationship with his former flame.

Russell Tovey has sparked speculation that he’s back together with his ex-fiancé Steve Brockman after the pair put on a lovey-dovey display on Instagram over the weekend.
More than a year after the pair called off their engagement, Tovey shared a picture of himself shirtless in bed on with both his dogs and Brockman’s on Sunday (11 August), revealing in the caption that his former (and possibly current) flame had taken the picture.
Rugby coach Brockman added fuel to the fire, commenting “My [world emoji]” underneath the pic.
The apparent reunion comes after Tovey confirmed the pair’s engagement was over last year, replying to a fan who asked on Instagram whether the pair were still together with a simply “No darling.”
The Years & Years star, 37, began dating Brockman in 2016, before announcing his “completely unexpected” engagement to the former King’s Cross Steelers rugby player in February last year.
Things came to a premature end just four months later however when Tovey anounced the couple’s split, while deleting all pictures of the pair on his Instagram.
- The eagle-eyed among Tovey’s followers had already speculated things might be back on with Brockman after Tovey shared a picture of himself with his ex-fiancé’s dogs on Saturday (10 August), but whatever their current status is, we’ve got our fingers and toes crossed for a happy ending.
