Ryan Murphy reveals impressive cast for new Netflix show ‘Ratched’
Sarah Paulson has been cast to play the titular role in the upcoming series

Sarah Paulson, Charlie Carver and Finn Wittrock to star in Ryan Murphy’s new Netflix show Ratched.
Based on the iconic, villainous Nurse Mildred Ratched from One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest, sees Paulson – who regularly works with Murphy on American Horror Story – take on the titular role.
As well as Paulson, Murphy took to Instagram to reveal the impressive cast for his first Netflix series including Sharon Stone, Charlie Carver, Finn Wittrock, Jon Jon Briones, Judy Davis, Harriet Harris, Cynthia Nixon, Hunter Parrish, Amanda Plummer and Corey Stoll.
He wrote: “’RATCHED’ on Netflix starts shooting in a couple weeks.
“On behalf of myself and Ms. Sarah Catharine Paulson who plays the title role and is also a big fancy producer on it, we are thrilled to announce our amazing cast…a true murderers’ row of talent.
“So many of these actors are supremely talented folks who Sarah and I have both longed to work with.
“The Ratched Principal Players, in alphabetical order: JON JON BRIONES, CHARLIE CARVER, JUDY DAVIS, HARRIET HARRIS, CYNTHIA NIXON, HUNTER PARRISH, AMANDA PLUMMER, COREY STOLL, SHARON STONE AND FINN WITTROCK.
“More to come, but come on…Sarah, Cynthia, Judy, Amanda and Sharon, all doing scenes together? I cannot WAIT.”
With more to be announced, we all hope to see American Horror Story regular Evan Peters to take on a role in the upcoming series.
