Sam Smith cosies up to Adam Lambert at after-show party

Fresh off his Oscars victory last weekend (Feb 28), Sam Smith has been cosying up to Adam Lambert in New York City.

The pair were photographed together at the after-show of Lambert’s show at Terminal 5 in New York City on March 3. He is currently taking his Original High Tour around the US and will bring it to the UK in April.

If a romance is brewing between them, it’ll be welcome news to Dustin Lance Black, who famously warded Sam off his boyfriend Tom Daley after the Oscars, tweeting that it was “time to stop texting my fiancé.”

Sam – already a BRIT and Grammy Award winner – won the Academy Award for Best Original Song for ‘Writing’s On The Wall’, the theme song from the 23rd Bond film Spectre. He caused a media furore by incorrectly claiming to be the first gay man to win an Oscar.

Whether or not Sam and Adam are anything more than friends (and we’d totally ship that), we’re also interested in the friend who appears in one photo with them, and will immediately set about finding out who he is.
