Sam Smith & Disclosure unveil video for new single ‘Omen’
By Will Stroude
Their last collaboration provided both parties with their UK breakthrough, and Disclosure have teamed up with Sam Smith once more for new single Omen.
The British electro duo, made up of brothers Howard and Guy Lawrence, have got the record-breaking soul singer to lend his considerable vocal talents to the track following the success of former single Latch, which reached Number 11 on the UK Singles chart back in 2012.
Omen – which was co-written by Smith and the brothers – will be released in the UK on August 21 and is the latest cut to be lifted from Disclosure’s second studio album Caracal, which is set for release on September 25.
The accompanying music video sees Sam singing in a futuristic, hot and sweaty Slave 4 U-esque club which is raided by authorities.
It was reported over the weekend that the newly-announced face of Balenciaga secretly dated former TOWIE and Attitude cover star Charlie King after meeting over social media – click here to find out more.
