Sam Smith is a lonely mannequin in video for new single ‘To Die For’ – WATCH
Oh go on then, let's all have a Valentine's Day cry.

Well, Sam Smith promised that new single ‘To Die For’ was for “all the lonely hearts out there” this Valentine’s Day, and Attitude’s Person of the Year 2019 has made good on that promise with the track’s sad, beautiful new video.
After announcing on Thursday that their third album, also called To Die For, will be out on 1 May, Sam has marked today’s annual love-fest with a soaring new ballad about the painful wait to find The One.
Directed by Grant Singer, who also helmed the fierce video for Sam’s ‘How Do You Sleep?’ last year, the video for ‘To Die For’ sees Sam star as a lonely mannequin head in a shop window, who looks on as the world – and its many happy couples – go by.
The melancholy track, which was produced by Jimmy Napes and Stargate, includes an unlikely sample from 2001′ Jake Gyllenhaal-starring cult drama Donnie Darko and will servie as the third single from Sam’s upcoming LP.
