Sam Smith snubbed by Brit Awards as Dua Lipa makes history
The 'Too Good At Goodbyes' singer has missed out despite having the third biggest-selling record of 2017.

Sam Smith might not be having a happy weekend after being overlooked at this year’s Brit Awards.
The ‘Too Good at Goodbyes’ singer failed to pick up any nominations despite his latest record The Thrill of It All being the UK’s third biggest-selling album of 2017.
There was better news for British pop starlet Dua Lipa, who made Brits history as the only female artist to ever receive five nominations.
The 22-year-old ‘New Rules’ singer is up for best female, best video, best single, breakthrough aritst and the coveted best album award.
Ed Sheeran scored four nominations while rapper J Hus and ‘Only Human’ singer Rag’n’Bone Maneach landed three.
Smith – who is set to perform at the awards ceremony at London’s O2 Arena on 21 February – might not need to panic just yet, however: The Thrill of It All will still be eligible for 2019’s Brits due to its November release date.
