Sarah Michelle Gellar reunites with ‘Buffy’ co-star Boreanaz

Sarah Michelle Gellar enjoyed a brief reunion with her former Buffy, the Vampire Slayer co-star David Boreanaz earlier this week.
The pair – Buffy and Angel in Joss Whedon’s cult teen drama – met up on the set of Boreanaz’s current show Bones on Thursday (February 27). Gellar then shared a snap of the pair, posing with Boreanaz’s Bones co-star Emily Deschanel, on Twitter.
“A tale of two leading ladies #Bones #BVTS,” Gellar tweeted, making a slight error with her second hashtag.
This is the second Buffy mini-reunion for Gellar in recent weeks. Last month (February) she posted a photo of herself with Michelle Trachtenberg and Seth Green – a.k.a. Dawn and Oz from the classic vampire series.
Buffy, the Vampire Slayer ran for seven seasons from 1997 to 2003 on US networks The WB and UPN. Boreanaz has appeared in Bones since 2005, while Gellar now stars opposite Robin Williams in hit US sitcom The Crazy Ones, which launched last year (2013).
