‘Saved By The Bell’ TV movie to air in September

A television movie focusing on life behind the scenes of Saved By The Bell has been announced by Lifetime.
The film will tell the story of six unknown actors who are thrust into the limelight on the series, and will explore their lives on and off screen.
The Unauthorised Story Of Saved By The Bell is currently filming in Vancouver, and will air on Lifetime on September 1.
The casting for the project was overseen by the original series’ casting director Robin Lippin. Dylan Everett will play Mark-Paul Gosselaar, while Sam Kindseth will play Dustin Diamond, and Alyssa Lynch will take on the role of Tiffani-Amber Thiessen.
Julian Works has been cast as Mario Lopez, Tiera Skovbye will appear as Elizabeth Berkley, and Taylor Russell McKenzie will portray Lark Voorhies.
Saved By The Bell aired on NBC between 1989 and 1993, and spawned numerous spin-offs in the years that followed.
