Sean Hayes has confirmed the upcoming third season of the rebooted Will & Grace will be the final season.
The hit NBC show stars Eric McCormack as Will, Debra Messing as Grace, Meghan Mullally as Karen and Hayes plays the hilarious Jack.
Although the show had a successful eight-season run, Will & Grace ended back in 2005. However, after the gang got back together for a short election skit, they decided to revive the show in 2017.
A second season of the reboot was then announced and began airing in 2018 and the show was renewed for a third rebooted season – making it the eleventh altogether.
But now, Hayes has taken to Twitter to reveal that the third/eleventh season will be the final season.
He wrote: “For all ‘Will & Grace’ fans, I am sharing the news that this is going to be our last and final season (which premieres this winter).
“To everyone who watched the first run and to everyone that encouraged this reboot, we did it all for you.”
